Why Speed Skating?:

My Grandfather built our roller rink in the 70’s and put me on skates as soon as I could walk.  It’s something I grew up with and enjoy above all else

Hobbies Outside of Skating:
I like to build things, play guitar, go hunting, play hockey, ATV’s and motorcycles
Something Odd People Wouldn't Know:

I have a debilitating illness Crohns’ Disease that, at times, prevents me from any activity.

Best Day of My Life Thus Far:

Each day I can go out and compete at an elite level is a blessing.

A Moment That Defines Me:

When I was first diagnosed with my disease, my doctor told me I wouldn’t be able to train or compete at an elite level anymore.  I laughed and told him he didn’t know me very well.
